Our mission is to empower youth transitioning from foster care and other vulnerable young adults by providing safe, stable housing, life-skills development, mentorship, and ongoing support. Through guidance, encouragement, and practical resources, we help young people gain the confidence and tools needed to achieve independence and long-term success.

 

Each year, many young adults leave foster care or face housing instability without the family support, financial resources, or life experience needed to navigate adulthood on their own. Too often, these challenges place them at greater risk of homelessness, unemployment, involvement with the justice system, and other barriers that can impact their future.

 

GLAM serves as a bridge between dependence and independence. Our program is designed to provide more than just housing—we create a supportive community where young adults can learn, grow, and thrive. Through personalized support and real-world learning opportunities, participants develop essential skills in financial literacy, employment readiness, education planning, personal responsibility, health and wellness, and daily living.

Our Transitional Living Program combines safe housing with comprehensive life-skills training in an environment that promotes personal growth, accountability, and self-sufficiency. Residents are encouraged to pursue their educational, career, and financial goals while building the confidence, resilience, and leadership skills necessary to become productive and successful members of the community.
